East Bay Center for Performing Arts
Developing Young Artists. Re-imagining the World. This vision guides East Bay Center for Performing Arts as they reach out to thousands of pre-k through high school students in Richmond. Richmond youth can also attend training classes to discover and develop their talents at the Center in Downtown Richmond. The center teaches 85 different classes in music, dance and theater. Recently renovated, there are many classrooms and two large theaters for performances or events: The Community Theater is a black box theater with a capacity of 250 and the Iron Triangle Theater is a proscenium style theater that seats 200. Their annual “Richmond Nutcracker” is not to be missed! 339 11th St. 510-234-5624 Website
